Well, after low siding my 21 today i can confirm that Chinese bodywork does not crash too well. Crying or Very sad
The things i do to help Andy prove a point.
So now we can add that to the reasons not to my Chinese!

Anyone want to buy a slightly worse for wear MC21?

Don't think I don't appreciate your efforts Jeff! Smile

On a serious side though, as long as you are OK, that's the main thing.

Thanks guys!
It was a cold tyre job..luckily i was not going too fast.
I have always been the first to scoff when a racer blames a crash on a cold tyre, but not any more. The back tyre just spun up, and round she came. Embarassed Did not even try to grip.
The right hand side went down, both brake leavers, top and bottom fairing panels and the mud guard.
I just lost a bit of skin..and have a bit of neck and rib pain.
Could have been a lot worse. a neighbor was killed a mile up the road Tuesday..puts things into perspective.

there are two types of fairings coming out hong kong at the moment which are made in china.

Polyeurathane plastic that melts in high heat and cannot be plastic welded and actual ABS plastic that can.

Most large 600 and 1000cc sport bike fairings that are being made are the ABS type but the smaller bikes are usually the former polyeurathane type. Can yours be plastic welded? Your crash also unfortunately does not prove that normal plastics would have faired any better.... Sad

Any pics would be useful to illustrate the point.

Sorry to hear about **** crash tho, I have crashed 21 times now and the money i have spent repairing my bikes i could have bought 4 more NSRs..
