It was a cold tyre job..luckily i was not going too fast.
I have always been the first to scoff when a racer blames a crash on a cold tyre, but not any more. The back tyre just spun up, and round she came.
Did not even try to grip.
The right hand side went down, both brake leavers, top and bottom fairing panels and the mud guard.
I just lost a bit of skin..and have a bit of neck and rib pain.
Could have been a lot worse. a neighbor was killed a mile up the road Tuesday..puts things into perspective.
