shift lever/pedal

My shift lever wont come back up when i shift, is this due to a spring inside or some other terrible thing. help, i couldnt find anything on this in search.

Firstly, can you add a location to your profile? Ta.

Sounds bad to me, and I think you will have to remove the gearbox to see if the shift mechanism is damaged.

I had that happen on my hornet. I overthought it and assumed there was something wrong with the tranny. I ripped the shift drum out and all that. In the end it turned out to be the shifter lever sticking at the pivot, it was dry as a bone.
Lube the pivot on your shifter lever and see if it frees up before you think the worst. Wink

well i can still shift, it just doesnt spring back into place i have to lift it up with my foot then shift again.
