Hopefully this is a joke, a Magtek uses a long bolt that passes right through the wheel.

Ahh it's not an oversight...!

you can't bolt into the mag alloy, so the disc bolts go all the way through the hub and pull the discs together into the wheel. You will need to get the corrects bolts and nuts from Honda.

The disk bolts on my RS250 Magtek wheel bolt straight into the hub, but my NSR250 Magteks bolt through the hub.......not sure what to make of that? Apart from perhaps I have to many wheels Shocked

Having had a few minutes to think about it.......you can't possibly have too many wheels.

I bought the correct bolts & nuts for the magtek wheels I`ve got.
Can`t see any reason why you couldn`t tap & fit helicoils to allow you to fit ordinary bolts to hold the discs on. The helicoil inserts are a lot harder wearing than the alloy of the wheels.
The part no.s for the correct nuts & bolts are on the parts manual on this site.

Because it's a road bike wheel, and it's safer!

A proper RS magtek has its disks bolted directly onto the wheel. You have to be very carful with the threads though as they tend to feel like cheese. Like Maxim says the NSR magteks are almost idiot proof for this reason.
