Yeap its the same mod.
Put 4 one inch holes in the airbox lid BUT you might need to go up a size on the main jets.

When you pull the tank you'll see the lid on top of the airbox. It's held down with phillips screws I forgot how many as I've only pulled my tank once at this point.

I wouldn't worry to much about the location of the holes. If I remember right there isn't a lot of surface area that those holes will fit so where they go is where they go. Any veterans here who want to help out, correct me if I'm wrong.

The next time I work on my bike I'll remember to take pics of the workings of our bikes for us new to NSR guys.

Thanks apexxn for clearing that out for me.

You know I didnt got my english lower diploma with the first chance and always try to keep up with everyone here.

So the lid is the half upper piece of the airbox with the white sticker on right?

For road use i'm afraid to remove it like others do, because of water...
Only modify it sounds ok.

No problem with understanding your English, it's good enough.

Yea that's the lid.

When you're moving no problem at all I would guess, but if the bike is left out standing in the rain it might collect some water.

Here in the states it's a fair weather sport so I don't ride in the rain if I can help it.
