Will MC28 Hel Brake Lines work with Brembos on NC35 forks

Wed Jun 10, 2020 8:47 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

As stated above. MC28 with NC35 forks and 40mm Brembos. Just wondering if I order the MC28 Hel brake line will they fit. Or has anyone any suggestions. Thanks.

Cant see why the lines wont work, but if my memory serves me right I think the Brembo calipers might have a different thread pitch, so make sure you got the Brembo banjo bolt with the calipers.

Because of the brackets, and because the discs are a different size, the calipers are not mounted in the same position. You'll be lucky if MC28 lines fit. In fact, you'll be lucky if NC35 lines even "fit".

Thanks Les. I didnt know about the thread pitch. I was just wondering would there be enough length with the calipers being slightly further away on the brackets.

Yes. Nissin Calipers use a M10 × 1.25 Banjo Bolt . . and Brembo use M10 × 1.00
