Yep, we need to get some proper rides sorted this year Dave, now that my bike is healthy again, as well as the obligatory meets at Squires Cafe! Won't need a helpful bystander to push me off this time Embarassed
Phil says he'll be over on his new 600.

Track day sounds good, reckon Si will be up for it as well. Could be at least 3 NSRs circulating, 'on any given day'.

Fancy the Mallory 1000 Bikes Festival and joining me on track? I've applied for 3 track sessions, over Sat / Sun. Get an application form sent off Razz I've got some accomodation sorted, c/w spare bed.

I'm up for it Dave, Novice Group works for me. If we show any signs at all of track ability, I guess they might upgrade us to the intermediate group Laughing Laughing If you can book me in at the same time, appreciate it. Otherwise just PM me the details.

Van hire is cheap at 1car1. £25 per day, or £40 with CDW, which is maybe a good idea for when we are driving back home, fuelled up on adrenalin Razz
I can just picture clipping apexes over Snake Pass in a fully loaded tranny van Laughing

I'm so excited at the prospect I actually took the old barrel off my bike this afternoon so I can send it away for a replate.

It's only been two years... Embarassed

Way!

Even copied Langcourts address off the net! No prices listed though, but I can't imagine it's more than £150 - Doesn't look like it needs welding...

A straight replate should only be around £90. Fingers crossed!

Let us all know when you hear from them please.

You don't get a single day of summer, you get some hot weather, but not a summer, in 5 weeks time it'll be light here at near 8pm, and it'll stay that way until the middle of September.
In mid summer there's time to ride a daylight only (i.e. no road lights of any form) bike to the track, get in a couple of hours of track time and ride home again, after work Wink

I'd say today was the first day with a sight of spring in, a little spin after work was fun Cool

I had the roof on the tin box yesterday and Saturday! It certainly does make a difference from last weekend when we were snowed in! Confused
