mc21 airbox mod

Sat May 31, 2008 9:00 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Would doing the airbox mod on a mc21 be easy enough to do at home?
If so any pictures?
If not who would you recommend?
Cheers, Grant.

Couldn't be any easier... it's like drilling through soft plastic!! Very Happy

20mm flat wood bit -- drill 4 evenly spaced holes in the front slope of the airbox lid. Should be obvious when you look at it!

Short length of duct tape -- for covering two holes on colder days/evenings to richen it back up a little if necessary!

Simple.

If you couldn't be stuff getting a wood drill bit, you can use a small drill and drill lots of holes in a 20mm circle then use the drill like a die grinder to join them all up and smooth it out

Wood drill bit is alot easier though.
