Trouble getting in Touch with HKSAR

Sat Nov 04, 2006 2:37 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

I bought a fairing set off HKSAR it turned up which was good but it was broken this was bad he offered to replace it but nothing has turned up, he apparently posted the replacement bits on the 21/8/06.

I've tried to get in touch with him by email but no luck. Think this is the same guy who sell the rothmans sets on ebay so be careful.

If anybody knows multiple email addresses for this guy please can you give them to me.

By the way stuff thats not broken is decent quality not try to slag the guy off juust want my fairing.

I bought an (admittedly cheap)Ohlins shock from him, sent the money, but the night before he was to send it, he told me he had a breakin in his shop and the shock was stolen!
He did return my money, but subtracted his bankexpenses.

I think I remember him going away for some time, but answered mails again after coming back.

I agreed to buy the same Ohlins shock from him and was told about the break in before I sent the money. Seems strange that he agreed to sell it to me when you had already paid for it!

Didn't he tell you that the shock was stolen ?

Did you buy it ?
At what price ? I bought it for 300$

I can't prove anything, thats why I didn't post anythingg, but the whole affair seemed strange to me and I did suspect that he sold it to someone else at a higher price!

I bought a complete front brake assembly from him recently.
He couldn`t have been more helpful.
I contacted him when it didn`t turn up when expected & he got back to me with a tracking no. promptly.
Turned out the customs gits wanted their cut which slowed down the whole process.

He always responded when I contacted him.

No complaints from me.

I told everyone to PM HKSAR because he has no agreement for commercial advertising, and I don't spend my hard-earned to host a platform for traders! By PM'ing him you are taking your business away from the Forum, and therefore any misconception that trading with him is endorsed by NSR-WORLD.COM.

Plenty of people seem to want to use the Site as a platform, but very few want to contribute to the costs! Until they do, the policy will remain the same.

As with any supplier though, fair discussion about your experiences on the Forum are acceptable, whether good or bad, but keep it civil.

I bought a front Magtek rim off of him a few months back.

I found him very helpful in the whole buying from abroad process as i'd never done it before.

Wheel turned up without hitch. The only down point is that the rim had been spray painted gold....badly. Badly as in even the grease was painted gold!

I bought a rear magtek from hksar. I don't feel it was fully represented. We found some covered up damage when it was sandblasted and it looked like the rotor had fallen off. The bearings were also in bad shape.

Sorry to hijack but on a slightly happier note, the bloke in Northern Ireland who had my £110 finally paid me back £80 last month.
He said sorry in a message & said he`s strapped for cash at the moment, which made me feel a bit bad as I had to send him a message saying GIVE ME BACK MY £110 YOU`VE STOLEN, YOU B@STARD.
I still haven`t replied to him as I don`t really know what to say.
If he`d just kept in contact instead of ignoring my messages we could`ve got things sorted out without all this bad feeling.
I do feel for him as he does seem to be a decent person, just down on his luck at the moment.
Not replying just made me think he`d taken me for a ride.

Just p!sses me off that I`m feeling bad because someone else has done me wrong.

Too soft I guess.
