If you can't spot the lady-boys a mile off you need to take a good long look at what you really like _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
lol, you dont know how much I'm going to charge you for it Matt, you already owe huge consultants fee's which need to be paid _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
If you'd have seen the look on my face when I found those bits of feeler under the YZF426 buckets last night you'd have paid me for the entertainment!
Oh S-teeev, and that KX250 I mentioned last night? What I didn't bother telling you was that the plating had totally worn though on the back of the cylinder, the (new) piston that was going in it might as well been a 125 slug such was the piston/bore clearance and the rod had at least half a mill up and down movement. And he intends to do the Pattaya Enduro on it this weekend Shocking. That's why I bailed out of matey's place quick smart.
Mr. Suh-teve's now winging his way back to the UK. It was good to see him again.
He did a sterling job on Paul's bike, and I'm happy to say that no one has yet succeeded in coming to my house and not getting their hands dirty
We had some great conversations about the 300's, F3's and Andy's bike Lot's of new ideas and we swapped a lot in NSR info.
Oh, and my loss of MC18 F3 parts was Steve's gain, so expect him to come out with something pretty trick if Andy gives him 10 minutes of peace
Unfortunately I didn't get my 300 far enough down the road of completion for Steve to get a test, but I did get to the point where it's running and just needs a tidy up.
Steve gave me a telling off for running my F3 PGMII at the back end, when it should be up the sharp end, so I dug out the F3 stay and I'll be moving it as per his command. I may stick the RC servo up there as well while I'm at it (a la RS250).
Yup, Im home now. I was home all of 5 mins before I dug the MC21F3 out and fitted my new F3 rear caliper hanger..... fantastic!
Seems to of got a bit colder while I've been away though so time for some bigger pilots in the PWK39's though.
It was great seeing you again Matt and I'm glad we got to talk so much about, like you said NSR's F3's and 300's. We both have some new ideas now! _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
