Who has it on your NSR250? One of my friend's NSR250 just done with it, I was told the NSR250 MC28 is going unbelieveable fast? I just very curious how the engine works? any opinion?

This is basically a semi F3 conversion and is gonna be something that StephenRC45 will be trying.

The RS rotor will allow the engine to spin up faster 'cos less weight on the crank. The RS PGMII obviously gives good timing with no restrictions, but depending on year maybe need retarding for unleaded fuel.

The big carbs have been done by many and give good top end power, especially on a 'built' mota.

You'd be looking at 70+ ponies.

Any carbs will work, but you'll just have to put in the hours to set them up.

I've used 91, 92, 96 RS250 carbs. I've also tried a pair of CR500 carbs. Don't expect CR500 jetting to work though!

You will also need to strip your motor and re-mechine where the stator sits as it wont fit on stock nsr crank cases.

I was thinking of alternative carbs this morning. Having worked with Scott V on his RS carbs I can see why they would be a great addition to a track bike even if they didn't add any power. They are so easy to work on.

Since RS carbs are quite hard to find, can CR carbs fit. How could you join two together?

You use 2 cables, just like the RS does. CR500 carb is 38mm the same as the RS.

Carb "insulators" for the '91: #16210-NF5-710 (front); 16220-NF5-710 (rear).

not sure if that helps given you're after the '92 numbers, but maybe a bit. Confused
