Could someone please tell me if the stator and ignition pick up connections on the r5k are the same as the 88' r2 and if not what kind of wiring modification is required? Looking to replace r2 engine with R5k, any info appreciated.
The PGM2 engine has a smaller flywheel so if you do a straight swap, your ignition timing will be slightly out. To do the swap properly you will need 5k pickups and a flywheel. If you know where to find any, let me know too. haha.
