Hello!

Mon Dec 22, 2014 3:24 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hello NSR World members.
I have recently acquired a 1990 MC21 to use in Motogymkhana (UK) in 2015.
It's a bit of a wreck and I would appreciate your help identifying missing parts, etc.
I think it's been standing for a very long time as the date stamp on the tyres is 1994.
Of course….it's seized solid but it did come with a spare engine.

I look forward to picking your brains ver soon!

Isn't that a sport where it's preferable to have loads of bottom end grunt and lots of steering lock?

You must like a challenge Shocked

Good luck with the resto, looks like a nice little bike.

I take it neither of you have seen the videos of NSRs doing gymkhana in Japan? Confused

Given the bottom-end performance of the MC21, you could do an awful lot worse than an NSR when entering the 2-stroke class.

I had no idea ... I had to take a look for myself. Here is a video of an NSR brethren. I wonder how strong you'd have to be to do this on a cbx, Goldwing or Harley.

I've been competing for two seasons on a mix of bikes, GSX400, Bandit 1200, Fazer 600 and a Wolf 250.
The Wolf is easily the most fun and is more my cup of tea than lardy four strokes.
The NSR is the number one choice of two stroke for Japanese riders and I'm going to find out why.
I should probably start a different thread for Motogymkhana.
