hi i need HELP.
i have a mc18 which has started oiling up the front plug.it happens @ any time,i have replaced the coil, still the same.Has any 1 come across this before?.A compression test has been mentioned and the oil injectors as well
does any 1 have any other ideas Smile
the motor has supposidly been rebuilt, new pistons, rings, re-nikkled barrels,bearings and new gaskets.

please im open to all ideas Smile

a long shot but make sure the connection at the coil is clean and tight. I drove myself crazy replacing coils periodically before I finally discovered the real problem was the female connectors from the wiring harness. A clue is if there is any evidence of arcing on the blades of the coil. Knock wood, bike has run great ever since (shite, no wood around, will my head do? now I've done it!).

Is the plug that is getting fouled getting spark> Just cause it's got a new coil on it doesn't mean it's getting spark.

check **** gaskets as i had a problem of coolant leaking into the cylender. it was only in tiny amount and was making the plug wet so it didnt spark

Check for a spark by taking out the plug and grounding the outside (body) to the bike and kicking it over.
