Hi there,
recently bought this bike as my next project,it seems pretty trick and hopefully other forum members can fill me in with some of its history,
Its got Harcpro exhaust system and what a sweet piece of engineering they are to,rearsets are also Harcpro or should I say were before someone got carried away with a drill, trick shock link, early rs rad,HRC ooo card, running total loss ign with alloy flywheel, lots of paperwork claiming 70 hp,
The bike came with some new parts and good s/h parts to,
Started stripping it down to check everthing is good to go I don't think its done much here in the UK since it was imported in 97,the tyre are like new and are 96 ,the pistons and bores are like new,
take a look ,I would appreciate any history on it ,

Hi there
cracked on with polishing and cleaning today its coming together pretty well,
I have a few issues, the carbs are in a hell of a state sonic cleaned them yesterday but 1 of the needles is still stuck on the brass tube so I,m soaking them in jizer, the rad is away for repair, and getting a new batt box fabricated by the famous trials frame maker Mick Whitlock aka Yamaha Whitlock Whitehawk ,
I will be trying to get the thing running next week when I get all the bits back on,

Good progress. Will it be ready for Donny? If Leigh brings his you can have battle of the kitted 28's.

Team Castrol Honda mv 28

Hi There
managed to get it sorted out and running this week, the keyless flywheel rotor was a challenge on its own but with a little help from some friends and some trial and error I managed to work it out, changed the brake fluids, oils, front wheel bearings, fork seals, freed the callipers off, it sound the business,
Managed to get a ride on it on a friends ind est , it has a very long 1st gear 50/60 yds worth its very responsive, Special thanks to Les for his handy lockwiring skills and stuff,
I have been looking at some old 90,s pics of Honda race bikes and I have copied the HARC-pro decal and stuck it on the endcans, i have some surpluss if anyone needs, also put a Honda Wing badge on the tank,
Overall I am very pleased with it, it hasn't cost a fortune to get it where it is,

Castrol Honda 28 upgrades

Sun Apr 26, 2015 6:48 pm » Post: #15 » Download Post

Hi there
We have made a few improvements over the last year on the bike inc Ohlins rear shock, serious front brake improvement period AP racing mag callipers EBC floating 296 mm discs,AP radial master cylinder, and a Magtek rear wheel,That is as much as I wanted to do to it,
I used it last year on a few occasions,Les and I went to Mallory festival,Brackley festival, and a couple of evening track days at Brands on the Indy
Les came round today with his rear wheel starter and it fired straight away,It runs and rides really well, looking to do some more with it this year,
