My latest project..1993 NSR MC21 SE

Thu May 16, 2013 6:56 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

I must admit that I did not do the entire build, but wrapped up the final touches to get this girl in tip top shape. I have to give it up to the previous owner who did a great job at getting this bike 90% there..

So here are the stats:
1993 NSR MC21 SE
Completely rebuilt bottom and top end and transmission with all new bearings throughout the entire bike
1993 RS250 Front Forks
RS250 Triple Clamps
RS250 Radiator
RS250 Coils
HRC Head Conversion
HRC Jet Kit
HRC rear brake reservoir
Uni Pod Filters
Brembo 19x18 Radial Master Cylinder
Brembo Iron Rotors
Brembo P30/34 front calipers
NGK Shorty Plugs and Caps
Davies Craig Electric Water Pump
Guhl Thermostat
Marchesini 17x3.5 Magnesium Front
Widened Rear Wheel by Kosman
Tyga rear sets
Tyga RSW Bodywork
Tyga SS GP Style Exhaust with Carbon Cans
TrailTech Digital Display
Currently running Michelin Pilot Cup 120/70/17 front and Pilot One 160/60/17 Rear
I had the suspension completely rebuilt and resprung by Ed Sorbo at Lindemann Engineering

I got her dyno tuned and she put down a healthy 60hp to the wheels (rounding up of course Wink ). She runs very strong, and is such a blast to ride. I just love putting it to those 600's and Litre bikes at my last trackday event Razz . It's really amazing how well this 20yr old bike performs! I've never had more fun on any other bike i've owned (Except my 1990 MC21SP of course). Anyhow, here are a couple pics of the new girl including the dyno sheet.

I would also like to say thank you to Andy and all who run and post on this site. The knowledge i've learned has been vast and invaluable and I wouldn't be where I am with both of my bikes without it!! Thanks to all!!

Nice, the cabin looks good too, she would look ace (imo) with standard shape bodywork, still tasty nevertheless.
