How much can I weigh?

I'm looking to get a track bike and would like something like an RS 250, but they seem to be quite rare and expensive to aquire? I've seen quite a few RS 125's for sale and I know how quick these things can be, but my question is, how big can I be and still have one as a suitable bike?

If you were racing one competitevley i would say 10 stone would be the limit, i trackdayed one a few times last year, and being 13.5 stone wasn't realy a problem, it was more the physical size of me and the bike that made it damm hard work, iam about 5ft10 -5ft11 and it was hard work trying to squeeze on, having said that iam getting on a bit and a bit stiff, so if you are young and supple, might not be a problem. you can get longer footrests hangers to help a bit, it also helps if you get one with a low first gear fitted. You realy need to sit one first that will give you an idea. Cheers Les.

I used a late spec NX4 at Donnington. I'm 6ft 3 and 16 stone. I had great fun. I'd have one in a blink of an eye to trackday. It was great!

So where do you actually find one of these beasts for sale? I'm in Australia and see the rare one come up on ebay, but apart from that?

Use the formula extreme classifieds anonymous.

Plenty of GP bikes on there at any given time, rarely cheap though!
