MCN two-stroke feature

Wed Apr 18, 2012 2:15 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi there, sorry to jump in on the forum but I have been asked by MCN to gather together the comments (and a pic) of a few 250 stroker owners. Would anyone who wants to be in MCN and is happy to have a pic of their face and bike (not sure which the designers will go for...) featured please drop me a line at jonurry@hotmail.com. I'm not sure on the questions yet, but they won't be too stressful!!! Just how long you have owned the bike, what makes it special etc. Only 250cc bike owners please, sorry...

Thanks and sorry for jumping in with out introduction,

Jon

What about 300 owners? They're technically a 300, but a 250 bike...

You could pretend its a 250cc! LOL

I think I'd feel like a Sally with my 250 and my original Rothmans leathers!! Best I stay at home...

I have an mc16 in red/white that i bought 18months ago. It's off road at moment waiting to be t&t. It isn't special at all but is identical to the one i bought brand new in 1987 from Colin Appleyard motorcycles in Keighley West Yorkshire. I raced that bike in various club championships around the country before registering it and using on the road for a while. I regret selling it in 1989 before buying a (dare i say it) KR1S for the Manx GP 1990 and following short circuit meetings. I have very fond memories of the MC16 but i know they are the slowest and least desirable of the NSR range. Just not to me.
