WTB Good MC21 CRANK

Thu Feb 23, 2012 1:22 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi Folks, im pleading with anyone who has a good crank sat in the garage "just in case" to think about selling it. Im really keen to get my bike on the road before spring and now need a crank or if anyone has a centre bearing for the MC21 that would be just as good.

Cheers Andy.

I've got my one from 'Noodle'. It had rust on the offside journal (common thing now I'm led to believe).
It was new some 2k miles ago...I have the reciept but done before I owned the bike.
I wasn't planning on selling it but feel free to make me an offer.

Mike

Bearings are out of stock. I`ve tried to order some, and Andy says Koyo can`t supply any more for the foreseeable future.

mixalisen no longer has any bearings unfortunately. Koyo would seem to of now discontinued the bearings.

Usable cranks now worth how much? Number of new cranks available from Honda, you don't want to know!

A rather small number.

Now it would seem that koyo have indeed discontinued the bearing that would also point to Honda no longer requiring bearings. A fact shown in the number of cranks Honda would seem to now have in stock.

I believe I have a full set of bearings, if anyone wants them he can have them.

No o-ring for the middle bearing though.

Surely if the demand is there for small batches of bearings from koyo they would produce them even if at a slightly higher cost due to batch numbers?
Also what about SKF do they not make the same specification bearing set?
