Do I need a new crank seal?

flywheel puller form TYGA just arrived so I was giving it a try. there is some wetness on the seal, not sure if it's normal or sign of failure

Best way to know for sure is to make a leak down tester - the forum search function should bring up the relevant old posts with photos and advice on building one.
