First trackday next week, any brissy people keen?

Doing my first trackday at Queensland raceway on the 6th of July. Any Brissy people keen? It's mid-week which makes it difficult, but as I am on holiday I thought it would be quieter than a weekend, which hopefully means more track time! Any advice/pointers? Can't wait! It's through champions ride days, seems like they do a good job of running track days.

i know its easy to say but don not ride above your limits, it sounds like you got all day, dont crash in your first few laps and breack something u cannot fix at the track.
bring spares, even if you dont think you will need it bring it there is nothing worse than saying 'i carnt ride cos this is broken, i got a spare at home but i didnt think il need it' and a spare engine to if you have 1 there is nothing like rebuilding a engine at the side of a track after the cranks let go on the first lap.
make sure your bike is in tip top condition, check everything before hand clean the carbs and bring spare jets tyre, pressure gauge, zip ties and duck tape

eat lots of high energy foods and keep well hydrated race tracks really tack it out of you, you dont think it but its hard work.
the rest should come natural, just get a good feel of the track before u start to push hard.
if you are using road tryes drop the pressure down race tracks and road pressure = crash, ask a trye man there, or other fellow riders.
and last of all have a good fun day Wink

Road pressures bad? Too much heat causes the expansion of the air in the tyre leading to the pressures increasing past what they would on the road?

So what pressure should you run?

i think the super crap michilins i used the michilan man said 25 psi cold in font and 21 in the rear.
best thing to do as i said ask a tyre man there ( or at any race track) what pressures to run
yes on the track **** tyre pressure will run way past anything on the road will ever
its been so long since ive had a road bike/ road tyres i dont even know what people use in them Wink

Please do not use short-hand TXT in posts. This is why some words are appearing blanked out.

Many users on the forum are NOT native English speakers, and it makes posts difficult for them to read.

Thank you.

Dunlop GPR Alpha 10's on both bikes. Run 32psi front and rear on the road. So far an excellent tyre, especially for my lack of skill.
