carbon cans

Thu Apr 28, 2005 9:48 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

hey guys, has anyone bought a set of those carbon cans on the market place?
im up for a set but would like to know which size is best and do you need to cut the pipes to fit them?
im not going to use hangers so maybe the large ones would cause to much stress on the pipes

thanks in advance

I have bought two pair (plus one single can, don't ask Sad ).

Anyways I got the 250mm ones, and I love the power delivery. My MC28 had what I am thinking were like 310mm aluminum cans on it, and these 250's really gave me some good mid range feel over the longer ones.

I am running with no brackets, and have had no issues at all. If you are using a heavy (stock) set of chambers, you may want to use brackets to help out the single bolt on the chambers.

thanks,

I'm also using the 250mm cans with no hangers. No problems yet. I'm like Charles, I like the midrange from them.

My mate bought some for his TZR 3XV and was well pleased, I had a good look at them and the quality and finish was very good.
