Expect the float inside the 2 stroke oil reservoir is stuck. Take it out and free it up. Smile

think i have done this if the float is the long black thing with a white plunger on bottom how is this meant to operate regards karl

On mine the float sometimes sticks at the bottom when I fill it up, which causes the light to stay on.there's a switching mechanism inside move it to the top with the ignition an see if it goes out. Might highlight a problem there.
