Does anybody out there know the OHM rating etc of the resistor that connects to the RC Vave Control Unit? Whoever had this bike last has done a bit of bodging and I can not get one from anywhere.

Do you mean the variable resistance that provides feedback on the RC Valve position back to the PGM?

yes, it connects directly to the RC valve control unit. The last guy tried to modify the bike and somehow remounted the battery near it, the battery must have leaked and acid went over the resistor

No, this is on a MC16, the Resistor is wired into the RC Valve Control Unit

I don't have an MC16 so I can't help you. If it was a 21, I have a dodgy unit sitting in the shed that I could just move through the motions and get a resistance measurement.
