Now folks, I'm no anorak type but I do love strokers and I have some common sense. Andy and Steve might disagree with that statement though Laughing

but.......... unless Hondabonda (nickname for them in the native land) have been really obscure in their thinking, they might have given you a clue as to what model the engine comes from originally by the engine number ??

MC16 ?

Maybe ?

Whattya think ?

As mentioned above, I may be wrong because I don't know the models inside and out but it sorta makes sense ?

Umm, wouldn't you know it....

Therefore, I revoke the original post and I shall go and stand in the corner of the garage and do some work on the Kawasaki as punishment.

Looking through my parts books, I would say the motor is from an MC28, but I am still not 100% sure.

Do you actually have posession of the motor, or do you only have the engine number for reference? It's possible to identify the various models by their physical appearance.

It will bolt straight in, yes.

It will also run the MC21 electrics, but you will either need the MC21 GPS or simply "splice" the harness wires as shown in the 250 Tuning Section.

Spot on! I hope you did find it in the 250 Tuning Section and didn't feel the need to go seeking info elsewhere! Smile
