Hi I was looking through the online parts manual and was wondering what the NSR250R7L Stood for?
It indicates the frame numbers are between 1000001~1024051.
Am I correct to asuuming it means it's a 1990?
My situation is, I bought a 1990 with a frame number 1004817 in Hong Kong, I want to import it into Canada, but without knowing the month and day of manufacture I can't bring it in until 2006.
Anyone have an idea of what month the 4817 was built?

is there a way of translating the Vin?

Best way to find out properly is to go to Honda, I had to do it two weeks ago to find out when mine was built so I could get it registered.

Be careful, they might try to charge you. Honda UK wanted £30, but Honda up the street did it for free!!???

Hey can they do it for any honda NSR?

I have tried over here in Canada and no one will help me.
Did they give you a letter stating when it was built?
Can they do this for a bike that isn't in the UK?

They can do it for anything at all!! Relevant dealers of course.

They gave me a letter stating date of manufacture, that is all you need I think!!
