The link below will take you to the photos. The asking price is U.S.$3000, and the owner had it registered in California, so I should be able to register it in my state as well, but don't know yet. It's a 1991 model with 26km. The lower fairings are in a box, decent condition, some scratches and one broken mounting tab, but not shown in the photos. I haven't started it yet, but I will try when I get plugs and charge the battery. It comes with a new front tire. Please give me advice on what this should be worth, assuming I can get it registered for street use. Thanks for your advice.

hello
$3000 dollars is about £1600, so the question is would i pay that?.
honestly.....no!
its a bit doggy in places gonna take a lot of cleaning to get it looking decent and as you know thats not the proper nose cone.
the JHA cans are niceish but the chambers look a bit past it!
seems a bit pricey to me but i think the 'tiltle' is worth alot to you guys in the states so its a bit hard to say.

the main thing really though is the motor, have you heard it? does it start?

good luck whatever you decide Very Happy

I picked up a MC21 locally in San Francisco for $2500.00. Bike runs great, looked much cleaner then that one, and was an SE model. Wasn't reg'd, but that wasn't what I wanted (to be used for racing).

The bike you are looking at buying looks like it's had a hard life, and has been peiced together to create a complete bike. The front cowling looks like it came off an RVF400, the bike over all looks very rough. The mileage is saying it's ready for a crank.

I am not sure how much work you are looking to do, or how much you are willing to put into it, but I would say you should wait, find on in better condition that may be more to purchase, but wont need as much to get it into decent condition. They are out there, just need to hold out, and keep searching.

always wondered what kind of pipes i had , now i know cause they are the same as the ones on that bike , be warned the fairing lowers may be of the bike because the pipes touch and melt them in about 4 places without some hefty mods

the bike looks like it had a hard life because it looks pretty close to mine. Mine was used for track/race before I bought it. I bought it mainly cuz it was titled in Cali.

Charles,
I think I saw your name on Keigwins trackday on July 3rd. Are you going to bring your NSR?
