On Autotrader right now, a brand new NS250 MC11

http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/WWW/bikes_search.asp?modelexact=1&make=HONDA&model=NSR&ccappr=250&min_pr=75&max_pr=&mileage=&agerange=&postcode=de5+9rg&miles=1500&max_records=50&source=0&keywords=&sort=3&search=SEARCH

Wonder what else people are hiding away.

There was a brand new RGV (UK spec and shape) in Granby Motors in Nottingham not 2 years ago.

I try not to think what I'd be willing to pay for a new MC28, I know the '21 is better in just about every way but...............

that bike is perfect for a collector, but at 2.5 grand a bit steep for an 88.

Totally NMC, BUT:

20 years ago, I yearned for a Vitus aluminum bicycle, but it was way beyond my means. I know they had a reputation for being whippy, etc.
If you bought a used one now, I'm sure it would be past its prime...

The other day, I got a sales catalog from a retail bike parts outlet in the US. Right in there, with no big "tadoo," it listed left over Vitus 979 framesets in tall sizes only. There were $699 US marked down to $475.
It said call for sizes, so I did. Believe it or not, they had a 60 cm in violet-- my dream of 20 years ago! On top of that, the internet price was $299 and
I found an internet coupon for 10% off your order. So I am soon to get
via time machine a 1980's Vitus 979 frameset unused for $279!

I will have fun building it up with our garage full of old parts we thought
we'd never need again. I just hope the glue that bonds the tubes doesn't
deteriorate with age!

Sorry for the long post. I am just excited. And yes it is funny what is lurking out there!!
