PV broken

Sun Jul 12, 2009 3:01 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi All,

I have a problem with my PV I think. The bike just stops reving at 7rpm. it is like it doesnt want to rev higher but this problem comes and goes. The bike is not cold, I warm it up etc before, is there something I can check on the PV's or do I need to replace them. Could it be the setting because it just came back from the shop from a clean up etc. (1 month ago) but I want to know if I am going to need a new PV so I can start sourcing.

Regards

Even with the power valves fully closed the bike should still rev to the better side of 12k (it just wont make any hp).

I doubt the power valves them selves are the problem.

I would be looking at ignition and/or carbs.
