D-Day - 6th June...

Fri May 22, 2009 5:15 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Not quite how it sounds! Very Happy

There is potential for an NSR250 biased 2-stroke dyno day on 6th June at GT Motorcyles (StephenRC45's), so we would like to see a show of hands for those who are interested please.

Traditional plan is a day of tweaking at the dyno on Saturday, and a smokey/rattly ride out on the Sunday (usually to North Devon across Dartmoor, but we will follow the/any sunshine!).

Please register your interest here ASAP, as the whole weekend will depend on numbers. Depending on interest, we will be able to work out a price for dyno participation. Those who have attended before know it will be great value for money, but we need to get the numbers right to make it cost-effective for everyone.

I don't like to let the side down plus I could do with a break and a few days by the seaside if Hotel Grant has a spare sofa? I'm sure I left a beer or two in your fridge that should be chilled nicely by now Wink

I'm going to run the '18 at the Anglesey races the weekend before, so dependent on how badly that goes (good positive attitude there I hope you note, the glass is half empty, cracked and leaking) I could run that or the '21 up on the dyno, or both if numbers are low or neither if numbers are high or whatever works out best.

Looks like just you, me, Steve, and Dave Ett at the moment! Confused

Still, nothing in that lineup to contaminate the performance gene pool at least! ROTFLMAO

Shucks....I'm heading to Cornwall now for a week, so probobly won't be able to make it either.

I've just slappd the NF5 back together so would have been good to dyno it. Another time eh?

Hey Leigh......hope the Honeymoon goes well. Although not too well, we wouldn't want another 'project' to arrive in 9months and put an end to all this NSR lark!!

Good luck today

If stupid Condor would have had a Friday afternoon boat from Jersey which was available (coming up unavailable for that date grrrrr) then I may have considered it. I was planning to go and see Stephen later in the year anyway, but would be nice to get my bike setup before the 1/4 here on 13th June. I couldnt have done the Sunday run as the boat leaves Weymouth at 12. I would have slowed you all down anyhow.

Bloody Condor.
