Depends what you want, are you after a minter to put in the front room? A rougher example to use and abuse or a box of bits to make into your own personal dream?
I keep on toying with selling this, you're not that far away, come and have a look, it's a complete Rothmans mc28sp (unlike any of the others on ebay recently), all o.e. Rothmans Honda panels, dry clutch, o.e. white Magteks. C/W mc21 flywheel, derestricted pipes, modded airbox. It'll keep any normally modded 90's grey import in sight and is quick enough to be fun.
It's not that tidy and has been used (150 miles today for instance), as I said it depends what you want.
But it's still a Rothmans SP, it ain't going to be cheap _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread

ive got a 21 that needs a tiny bit of work on it am looking for around £1800 for the bike and all the extra bits of body work and anything else i can find for it
i am idealy looking for a 21 or 28 that needs paintwork but runs and rides
i dont really want a project bike that has major problems as i would like to get to ride it this year.
I think if you gave a ball park figure of how much you want to spend may help, 28s don't often sell for less than 3K _________________ MC21SP - Roth-tax

yeah - i think most of these nsr's have now done the rounds.. i was looking just before christmas but then decided to spend on a new race bike (mx) so has taken a while to build the $$ back up - and of course the good weather brings out a few bikes and once a few whip past you in the car it suddenly become's the top of the i want now list.
i dont really have a strict budget ~ i don't want a mint 28 or the price tag that go's with , however i know 28's do come up cheap every now and then as i picked one up for £1500 a year and a half ago , wasn't roadworthy mind.
there is a mc21 on autotrader in a shop in london for £2000 with 28 bodywork and a nice repsol paint job - is it a bike from anyone here ?
I would say Fenton's MC21 is worth looking at. The motor seems a good solid base to start with (dyno'd at just over 60hp but all stock), and it was in pretty good nick when I last saw it on the road.
I expect the worst it will need is elbow grease on all the polished alloy that's no doubt a bit corroded now. My understanding is that the majority of the mechanicals were replaced with new when he rebuilt it. _________________ Andy.

thats a shame that your all the way over there - out of interest which bodykit is that? i know there is many options but in my opinion that is the best looking.
i also wanted a kato paintjob!!
or the 2007 repsol paint of julien simon ~ saw his bike at donnington that year and it was stunning.
i have a couple to think about ~ is there anyone else out there with anything?
Thats a tyga GP250 fairing, pearl blue painted with factory motogp decals, in fact i sell the fairings as well or the bike, have 2 choices keep the bike and make it original form or sell the hole bike. i ask for 600gbp for the kit including tank, after fitting the fairing bike sit in the showroom not driven at all.
