BR9ECMIX plugs?

Sat Apr 25, 2009 12:24 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

My local KTM dealer has always stocked BR9ECM's but suddenly they've been replaced with BR9ECMIX which I think are the iridium version. Anyone had any experience with these? I'm sure they'll work fine but I'm curious if they foul more or less than the BR9ECM's.

Used them, never had a problem, went back to BR9ECM's as found no advantage.

I'm running platinum's as place i got them from were doing a special. No major difference. Just luck for me.
Gotta be worth at least 5 bullsh*t HP, nearly as much as my HRC stickers. Laughing

In general, I found platinum and iridium plugs let you take the choke off sooner, and if running premix are a bit more tolerant of out of band oiling.

Never used them in an NSR though.
