HI,
just wondering why everyone blocks off the power jet, wouldn't it enhance performance if it was tuned properly?

Blanking the power jets just makes it easier to set the carburetion up, as the PWJ system on the NSR is progressive.

Not necessarily a bad thing on the road though for anyone who can't really live with fine-tuned jetting all the time and doesn't want crisp power right at the top.
