Nice!

I popped down to MFN last night on the '28, plenty of attention for a 15 y/o 50 odd bhp pile of old bits!

Two would cause a commotion.

Nice to have you back Monkey.

Plans? I have to admit it, that's never personally been my favourite NSR paint job.

yeah, first things first I guess I'll have to sort the suspension out, I would like to fit 28 fork legs or even better just the bottoms so the forks can be resprung and revalved at the same time and it's an easy way to fit some bling SP1 calipers, either a revalve and respring on the rear shock or if something comes up at the right price a fancy shock.
Next will be a top end rebuild and probably a set of new crank seals as I am told it stood for quite a while so that can't hurt.

I have thought about the paint and to be honest what it would cost for a new quality paint job I could buy 3/4 of a set of new panels from David silver (Rothmans of course) so that would bebmy choice, even if they had to be 28 panels.

It's all money of course of which I have none left LOL

Wahoo, finally got the sets of wheels I needed. Two sets of white magteks, one for each MC28. Twisted Evil

Now need to start selling some of my other wheels...I have far too many.

Not including the two sets of Magteks I have 3 rear MC28 wheels, suppose I could sell two and keep one for wets. 5 front wheels one of which is also a white magtek and worth keeping. One standard white one and three black!

You can easily shift the rears on the 400 forum if you ask for around £120 a wheel, can't ask for much more as you can buy pattern ones for around £160

Ricey just how second hand are your panels maybe a deal can be done....

My old standard '28 rear goes onto ebay on Sunday, started at 99p, wait and see what that makes, lets not have too many floating around!

Those pattern ones are allegedly quite heavy?

NSR Monkey, they are not that second hand really, just a couple of the fixing points have broken, there actually quite good though, red and black would match my leathers and i wanted to get the bike back in its pentax colours. i'll send you some photo's or we can meet up soon, i'm not far from nott's, alvaston, just outside derby.

Yeah thursday's at the anchor, police tend to turn up everynow and again, when its not its a right laugh, folk pulling wheelie's up the hill Very Happy

Good old Monkey! ROTFLMAO

£35 a year for tax... wouldn't want to be wasting £2.92 by taxing it before the end of the month! ROTFLMAO

Laughing

You keep telling yourself that! Very Happy

Of course, being the law abiding citizen that you are, it does mean you wouldn't be able to ride it for a couple of weeks while it was being looked over... you'd never ride it without tax, would you? Wink

Wanted to be in Thailand a few weeks ago for my birthday but had other commitments. A trip is on the cards though!
