Do you not have the triple clamps?
Are they RWU or USD forks?

NF5 are RWU or USD. I've had both on mine.

NF5 pre 91 are 41mm RWU, same as the NSR, and will fit in NSR triples, although they are very short.
NF5 92 are USD with calipers similar to the NSR.
NX5 93 on have a different caliper pitch.

If I recall correctly, NF5 USD forks will fit into RVF400 triples... but good luck finding a set of those too! Laughing

If it's forks only, see if you can find some data on ZXR400 triples or maybe if you're desperate, RGV triples! If they are the same size you can use those with an NSR sized stem. I've NSR's fitted with both those front-ends.

Yes, they are short. Those aren't NF5 forks, they are modified NF5 internals matched to NSR parts, with either NF5 or MC18 legs, but I don't recall which.

I can't remember exactly, but I think the difference is something around 40mm. The RS top clamp is not offset as much as difference in fork length.

These are even earlier RS forks, although the triples look the same as my NF5 ones.

Andy... I didn't know that the NF5 went to '93... I thought it ended in 1992, with the double sided swingarm, 90 degree V-machine, and NX5 started in '93 with the SS swinger and 70 degree V.
