MC16 Yoke fitment

Wed Feb 16, 2005 10:53 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

How similar are MC16 yokes to MC28 yokes? I need a set of yokes as a template so I can have a new spindle made up for different forks to be fitted. Will they fit straight on?

I would like to not have to disasemble my front end for the third time this winter if I can help it. If I do I might never make the dyno/track day in June.

No I own an MC28, but wanted to try fitting some USD forks. I need to fabricate a new spindle to go into the USD yokes, but didn't want to disassemble my MC28 yokes to do it. I've seen some cheap MC16 yokes which would do as a template, saving the hastle of taking the front end off......again.

If they are the same.... cool, if not then bollox

on an MC21,if you fit ZXR250 forks you can press the NSR spindle in to the ZXR yoke. if the 28 is the same it would also fit. but i,m not sure if its the same as a 21. why not drop matt at tyga an e-mail he,ll know.
