NSR F3 cdi question

Tue Jan 27, 2009 4:57 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Helloo all
I recently bought ex Yahoo Japan, full electrics for an RS250. Got it today.
Had a look.

CDI mounts on the front subframe (included) marked NF5
RC valve controller (green sticker at one end) marked NH3

Did some of the F3's use the RS CDI?
If so, what years? Just trying to figure out what I've got...

Some used a bit of both.

It will be from either '88 or '89.

Nothing. They altered a couple of part numbers but the system was the same.

Ok, or '87 but I bet it's '88 or '89 Laughing

I've still got loads of brand new '87 F3 electrical stuff. When ever I buy anything I seem to get more of the damn stuff.

Yeah, I may have to buy some of it too. I seem to have "lost" some 87 stuff between here, Exmouth, East Budleigh, and Japan!

I will probably go 90~91 on my '21 (with the standard charging system for now), and I'm pretty sure I have a full 89 for my 89 (in fact, more like 1 1/2 sets!), but I can't find all the 87 stuff for the MC16. Confused
