Just want to say, Fantastic work there.
For a complete noob it is worth gold. Love to be able to print a copy but hey, better than guess work.
Can't wait for my parts to arrive so I can start piecing my MC28 back together.

Once I have it complete, my plan is to offer printed versions to all board members.

Thanks for the comments, it's been not that hard up till now, but once I get into the electrical area it's going to get real tough.

I'd second that....it's a real quality item. Having done the HRC manual all those years ago, I know that it's not that easy Charles. A big thank you and look forward to the completed version.

The MC21 manual wont be that difficult to do once I am done with the MC28. All the topics are the same (for the most part), just the way that Honda presented the information is different.

The problem I have is I don't have an MC21 manual to work from (well it's really an MC18 manual with supplemental material for the MC21), I can't really do much there.

Now if someone was willing to take the time and get me very high quality scans of the manual (and not copies of copies, as the pictures are the important part) I could see about going ahead with an MC18/21 manual when I am done with this one. of course I know Andy is already working on that, so that may be done before I get around to it.

As for the printed version. My plan is that when I am complete I will offer the manual printed out on bright white, decent bond paper. Printed front and back with color front and back covers. I generally insert each page into a clear sheet protector then put it into a 3 ring binder. This way you don't need to worry about getting dirty finger prints on the page as your working with the manual in the shop. Also can write notes on the sleeves with grease pencil or dry erase marker without marking up the pages.

Problem is that the supplies get pretty pricey when you figure it all out (150+ pages, ink, sleeves, binder, etc..) I know the RS250 manual I did came out to be about $35.00 in supplies alone. So it's not a cheap deal. of course it will get you a manual in English that was never offered by Honda (or Hayes for that matter!).

It's a lot of work to translate Charles, plus the supplies like you mention so don't sell yourself short on the selling price when you're ready to make them available. Cool

Hi there,

I think you did a great job...!!! To tell you the truth not just great, but something more than great but I can't find the words to express it because my English are bad....!!!!! Embarassed LOL...!!! In any price this manual in printed version will be a really bargain...!!! At least this is my personal opinion...!!! Please count me in for one copy version from now…!!! Laughing Personally I’m grateful to you doing that kind of job for all of us...

Best Regards
Michael
