Blocking pin

Sun Jan 11, 2009 11:45 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Slowly this comes together...

I've got the jet kit in, but there's one part I haven't figured out where it goes. 96205-04005 x2 is supplied, but it doesn't make any sense as to where to use it. I originally thought it was for blocking off the PJ, but no, my kit had 2 small solid PJ blanks that thread in.

Anyone?

I Think the bits you mention are for blocking off the oil feed for the oil pump seen you'll be running pre-mix. I belive they go into hose between the two oil feed pipes.

Thanks! You have to understand some of this is confusing because I have more than just the HRC kit - I've got extra bits somehow; i.e. two 'y' pipes, 4 emulsion tubes, etc. So I've got these lovely rubber caps that fit over the oil feed tubes on the carbs, negating the need for the blocking pins.

Or I just peel out the brass tubes and put in the pins.

You can either glue the caps to the 2T feed unions or cut the feed pipes to about 20mm and glue in the alloy bungs. Either is acceptible.
