testing PGM III

Tue Dec 30, 2008 3:54 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

I've inherited a PGM III of unknown status. What is the best (and safest) way to determine if it is working? (stock loom except for wire splice) I've read about how things like frozen power valves can blow PGMs, but I'm wondering about the other direction, if popping this in can possibly blow something downstream. Do I just put it in and see if the bike starts/runs or is there more to it than that? Thanks for any help. Happy New Year.

Just plug it in and try it!

"Things" break PGMs... duff PGMs don't break things! Wink

What, you'll give the PGM a go, or your wife a go? Shocked

I wouldn't mind plugging my wife in sometimes! Rolling Eyes

Very Happy
