breather hose location

breather hose location

where does the hose that comes off the engine just above the reed block goto , its currently blocked on my mc21 and i got no idea where it goes

It runs between the inlet manifold subs, under the carbs, down the back of the crankcase and exits on the left (flywheel) side just above the expansion chamber.

There should be a metal retainer "loop" bolted to the frame that holds the pipe just clear of the expansion chamber and the chain.

what is the function of the hose in question, whats it letting breath? Also i would like to know, Where is the gearbox oil breather/overflow located

It's part of the environmental control setup, designed to allow any crankcase overpressure to bleed off to atmosphere and reduce the 2 stroke pollution...*
