The rumour was that I was thinking of including an RS section (that's realRS, i.e. HRC RS!).

If there is enough support for an "Other" section, then we will consider trialing it. If the support on that forum was good, it generated healthy traffic, and was sucessful, then it would be kept running.

We need to see results from the poll and this thread first, and to hear if there are people with sufficient knowledge of the subjects willing to moderate it.

Andy.

Well, I caught the FZR bug lately, but I guess I am now open for abuse since I mentioned I have a diesel...

Wouldnt it be nice if Honda made a CBR400 that the 600 engine would fit into? Cool

Bore-stroke Laughing I like it Wink

I added an RS250 section to my forum recently by request, as you know aprilia RS has same engine as RGV and it has proved very popular.

Having racers around is very useful so you may attract some new guys with that section with lots of knowledge. I won't vote as I don't have either Confused

Good luck.

Bore-stroke ha ha ha ha ha

OK, I don't think we can justify an "Other Bikes" section. There simply isn't the call for it, as I think Sean & RGV250.co.uk handles the RGV/RS rather well, there is a KR1/S Forum already, and the Yamaha's are also catered for and established elsewhere too. We were also afraid that there wasn't sufficient on-board knowledge to accomodate technical issues regarding other marques, and the Forum may have just descended in to trivial waffle and picture-posting!

We have however, as you may have noticed, opened an HRC RS section as it is both (a) Honda 2-stroke orientated, and (b) has been mentioned before as there seem to be limited RS resources elsewhere on the Net.

Hopefully we can attract some RS owners/racers into the Forums who's knowledge may over-spill into the NSR Forums, and also generate some useful Classifieds posts for NSR upgraders!
