It's that time of year again and hope to see you there.
We are going to have a nice display for NSR's only so bring your bike out and join us. We also have a NSR500V that will be joining us so it's a special year and we need your support to put on a good show.
2 Stroke Extravaganza
Woodley Park, Van Nuys California
Apexxn, sounds like a good event. Expect you'll get some pics posted on the forum _________________ Rich

2-Stroke Extravaganza should be renamed to NSR Extravaganza. There where 14 NSR 250, 1 NSR 125, and 1 NSR 500. There were a few more NSR 250's roaming around but didn't park with us. Great turn out. Here is a link to some pictures.
Looks like you guys enjoyed a brilliant event! That must be the largest assembly of NSR's outside of Japan?? Some cool bike pics, I liked the MC21SP Rothmans with Green Number plates. Great weather, but guess that's normal for Cali. We are not jealous in the UK _________________ Rich

Agreed with Rich about the '21 Rothmans, although I don't like what's been done with the wheels. It looks like a classic case of someone who's run out of things to do and started "tweaking" unnecessarily! _________________ Andy.

What a great event to be part of and a big thanks to all that participated.
The crowd really loved our display and I kept hearing all day how they had seen an NSR before but one at a time once or twice a year nothing like this.
That is an impressive display of clean bikes, and you didn't even manage to get them all in that picture!
A nice NSR-WORLD banner would've gone down a treat I reckon!
I still can't understand for the life of me why Honda put black wheels on the Repsol SP's!
My OCD would've seen me lining them all up in chronological order, then by paint scheme! Now, where's that "loony" smiley?! _________________ Andy.

Don't be to jealous it was a nice day a little warm 100 +. _________________
Ship me a banner Andy, something to the effect NSR-World loves Americans and I'll fly it.
That's funny because I was being very careful lining all the bikes up in a triangle type formation and I think some of the guys were looking at me like I'm crazy. Imagine if I started moving them around by year and color....
I had to score one of the Repsol's a little lower because it had orange wheels. He still walked away with some iron as the rest of the bike was very clean.
On a side note I always preview my posts and clicked on the link and it worked after I posted, not sure when it stopped working. I just looked at the link of the pics and it's different than what you have so how it's working is anybodys guess.... wonderful thing the internet.

Look at the status bar at the bottom of the screen when you hover over the link, and it will show what I got when I hovered over yours. Normally I wouldn't bother correcting it, I'd just delete it, but it's a good link to some extra pictures and complements the thread. The comment was to make you aware of why I had edited it. _________________ Andy.

Here's something interesting... well, to me anyway!
Notice the aftermarket fairings and paint on UK bikes compared to the majority of OEM "concours" type bikes seen at the Extravaganza. It seems the Americans like the factory restored look, where as the Brits tend to like them more individual. Dave Ett's MC21 HRC Anniversary Edition is the only original 250 in that photo!
None of the other NSR's that were there that day had OEM paint either. Shame we never got them all in the final photo. _________________ Andy.
