Honda NSR250 forced airbox FOR SALE/TRADE/SWAP
I have for sale (OR TRADE/SWAP) a very special piece of kit. This is for the serious racer and will appeal to those willing to invest time and effort in extracting the last few horsepower from their bike. I have developed this over the last season and it really is awesome, delivering around 3-4bhp uplift, depending on circuit conditions (ie. a circuit with a long straight, where the 'ram-air' effect is greatest will deliver the biggest returns).
I made a very small quantity for my own race bikes (an MC21 and an MC28). I have a few left, brand new - see the final picture. It comes untouched from production (ie. no holes cut in it). This is to allow whoever wins to match it to their bike. The holes you need to cut for the carbs, scoop, carb rubbers etc are different for the MC21 and the MC28, they are also different if you are lucky enough to have PJ38s fitted - hence the reason for the box being sold unmolested. I can give guidance to the winning bidder on what mods to make, where to cut the holes, and on jetting, set up etc. - Please note, to be fair to whoever buys it, I will only share set up information with them, so please don's ask for any details.
This airbox is aimed at the dedicated racer, as it requires some knowledge to fit and set up, it will also require the moving of some original parts.
