exhaust cans

Mon Apr 14, 2008 6:47 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

I have just bought some end cans from a guy on dredded ebay, they seem quite good quality and super light but they didnt come with any hanging brackets, I have tried everywhere to get some. The guy i bought them off tells me that they are M Factory West cans and the same as nsr-world sell but i have never heard of these. Can anyone shed some light on this or at least tell me where i can get some brackets from. Confused

depending on the exhaust system, going to a lite weight sliencer you can actually do away with the hangers, and let the exhaust pipes support them selves with the mounts they have.

I dont fancy doing that as i know they will probably vibrate a little, mounting them to the standard chambers which have a little movement on the original rubber mounts.

I ran my race bikes like this, as well as my street bike like this with no issues.

Sure they vibrate a little, my RS250 (which are also rubber mounted) vibrate a little. But never had an issue with them at all.

Dropping the brackets give it a much cleaner look as well Smile
