fork adjuster help

fork adjuster help

just wonderd if anyone can help me one of the brass adjusters on top of fork leg is proper butcherd not by me its the joys of buying off evil bay need to get new yoke as well he had straight bars on so been drilled but i thought id get one easy but how wrong was i Crying or Very sad i could get away with leaving it but will look crap and want to send forks off to be anadised and revalved this week but they might want to put new one on but that will cost a fortune http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj53/barmysi/sipics366.jpg

Hi I'm no expert but they look the same as on the VFR 400 NC30 later type forks ,I got one off a chap on the 400greybike site . If you have no joy here ,try asking on there .

Yep, they're fairly generic, when I had my forks rebuilt by K-Tech they just replaced my siezed, rounded off ones with some they had taken from some forks they'd put a proper full race kit on.

I think you'd be better off keeping the SP forks intact. I'm sure that whoever rebuilds the RVF forks can supply a new (or good used) rebound adjuster.

It wouldn't be the end of the world to actually have a new one made!
