I should bloody well hope so with the capacity, amount of modification, and money thrown at it! Smile

Guess its time for refresh then, my road bike with standard card makes more.

I changed rings on my race bike last weekend so am expecting a fair bit more than 53 from it now. Laughing

I have some standard rings at home if you want me to bring them on friday?

And what did I say last weekend Fontyyy? I seem to recall saying I bet it was down to about 55hp, and that you wouldn't have noticed the drop-off! Wink

I bet just a set of rings (and maybe a little less conservative setup) will see it back to 62~63hp.

Indeed you did mate, it'll pick up a couple just minus the airbox and back to the known good settings, making your 55bhp prediction all the closer, I might even get passed it Wink
From the richness "wiggles" on the graph you'd say there was a good 2 horse there, then maybe one more in losing the airbox, 57-58, normal fair for a '28 isn't it?

I'll just have to try harder, that shouldn't be tough Rolling Eyes

They will nearly always go a couple sizes leaner than you think is "on the edge"... unless you're Matt!* Laughing

*Or Dave Ett... How rich was that MC21 at the first ever dyno day?! Laughing

I'm half surprised you bought a VJ23 after riding Steve's MC21F3 Dave, but given your Suzuki trend, the other half of me isn't so surprised.

I guess if anyone is going to make one work properly it will most likely be you, but does the F3 NSR's power and flexibility not tempt you?

I know what doesn't tempt Dave, the fact it's all there in front of you in black and white, "just" spend years scouring Japanese auction sites, follow the book and there it is; 72bhp.

Um, it was quite conservative I'll grant you. I think the petrol was helping cool the pistons... Wink
