Dyno time

Wed Sep 12, 2007 3:54 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Myself and Leigh are taking our bikes for testing at a dyno I've used previously based in Basingstoke in the next few weeks. It'll probably be a Friday, but if anyone else based in the South East wants to come along for some dyno time, then feel free, as they charge for time and not per run etc... Last time I went the bike was on teh roller for nearly 4 hours and it cost me about 110 all in! They have national and GP level experience with 2-strokes.

Hi, do you have any idea of a date yet? Need to get my 300 checked out after its rebuild. Will you be booking an afternoon or morning session?

I think possibly next Friday, the 21st, but not 100% yet. Still don't have the motor yet so it all depends on that really... I'll be doing the morning.

If you get no joy try Double take motorcycles in Southampton. The twins race 250's so they know how to set them up.

Yes we took them down a couple of weeks ago. They're called DynoTech Racing, Unit 11 Cufaude Business Park, Cufuade Lane, Basingstoke, RG26 5Dl, 01256881711.

They do a fair bit of 2 strokes and a very good job. Also, StephenRC45 has his dyno coming soon I believe...

Same dyno, just a new cell.

Had a few more regulars wanting some dyno time over the last few days so might try and set up another 2 stoke dyno day for in 3 or 4 weeks if there is some interest.

Well you know I'm definately up for it so let me know a few dates. I can't do the weekend of the 22-24th feb. I think Tom and I are going to come down in the pikey van.

Haven't had any joy locating emulsion tubes for the PWK's. Can you get them in? Want to have a play with the TPS too as I want to take that out of the equation if it's ok...? Basically a general look at the wiring to make sure wire splice, GPS set up etc is all correct. Then RC valves... and so on!

Maxim,

Did you pick up the graphs for my bike? If not do you have an email address for them, maybe I can get them to email them to me.

Going to do my rings over the next couple of weeks then I am ready for Brands Smile

Cheers

Should be ok.

Dave is thinking he might come down as well with a VJ23 which hes going to run in F400 this year I think.

I'll have a word with him and see what dates can be bashed about.

Myself an Tom are one step closer to joining him out there now as well Wink
