"The addition of an M-Max booster chip and some careful rejetting gives you around 60bhp, depending on pipes and how well it’s been set up. The biggest increase can be felt in the way the NSR now scorches through the top two gears, adding an indicated 15mph to the top end. (And if just short of 130 still isn’t quick enough, a Blue Fox kit will take you to 143mph, at an additional 250. Comparatively cheap power, thank you very much.)"

ive found the M-Max box, but what is this Blue fox kit?
143 mph is damn fast for a Street Bike 250... Exclamation

Before everyone gets excited. There are a couple of mistakes.

Anorak anorak!!!!

The NSR SP doesn't have a close tranny. They're all the same.

The SE is not an R, it's an SP motor with aluminium wheels and slightly different forks.

And there are no magnesium cases.

Maybe this will save a few questions being asked

Yep, I caught those mistakes too!

And another one: with stock gearing, the NSR would have to turn some mighty high RPM before it hit 140mph!! (well over redline) If I remember right, mine hits 180kph (112mph) at 11,000rpm. 140mph would be roughly 14,000rpm.
