Yes, we used to sell those. Not very good at all i'm afraid. The fuel injected ones were crap and the carbureted ones you cant get regestered as they didnt pass any EU laws. Ok for a track bike tho.

how not very good can a 500 2stroke not be, i read a thing in superbike a few months back and the guy tested a carbed one said it was dynamite.

surely you could register it on a Q.

From what I understand, the recall/problems with this bike were related to the machining of the cylinder. The port work is great, and the fuel injection can be tuned very well, but the stock cylinders were machined wrong on the assembly line. I heard that you can turn the base of the cylinders to get the squish clearance right, and she runs like a raped ape.

Would love to have one myself. The stock power/weight ratio even with the factory defect is excellent!

That was me, saw a show about a a guy re-engineering them to correct there problems and it peaked my interest. Then I found a site that was selling them. $20K US, think I'll buy a couple more NSR's ! http://www.nsr250.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=593&highlight=vdue
